Troop 236 (Trail Life and AHG) participated in the 25th annual Barbour County Youth Hunt, 15 February 2025. Many thanks to the Eufaula Lions Club, Alabama Lands Division, and the many sponsors who make the event possible!  Boys, girls, and some adults practiced their outdoor skills and shooting skills.  Stations included fire starting, land navigation, turkey calling, archery, skeet shooting, and many more. Boys and girls up to age 15 competed against other youth in BB guns, 22 rifles, and skeet shooting. The Game Wardens took the youth on a guided quail and squirrel hunt.  Most of our youth participants went home with a prize, such as youth hunt hats, turkey calls, fishing poles, 22 rifles, and more. Troop members are already looking forward to going again next year.
